Probably willow pollen based on colour and which stained and examined under the microscope should look like this

It a shame its not warmer the willow would be producing a small flow.
Willow isn't flowering locally near me but a mile down the road it's out in force.

entrance blocks.....would people agree with having removed the block in the photo above? it seemed to be creating too much of a holding pattern for me, but now wondering if i can remove all

Love the strength of this overwintered colony! I got one like this now working on second deep. But I did not remove my entrance reducer just yet, as they got about four inches of opening.

I would remove it and put a reduced one in its an abelo so I'm not sure about entrance blocks per say.

100mm x 8mm is good all year round ( entrances)
