I wondered if anyone else was intending to go, so that the subversives could ensure that sensible ideas for overwintering might also get an airing?

Although I differ with Rudland on certain points, there was nothing but good, common sense on show today and the pollen lecture was, as expected, great fun.

Thanks to the Kent Beekeepers for organising the event. It was an entertaining and instructive day spend among friends - exactly what an association is for. If you don't like it, go write a book. Plenty of others have, and no doubt all of them still think well of themselves.
