Sounds like standard proceedure if they don't like what they hear. Worked in a lab for some years and the general rule tends to be......."these are the results we are expecting". Get those results and continue to work, don't get what they would like and your career nose dives. Of course, talking about private companies here.....you know, the ones who sell you food and such! Trust me I know!
