Introduced queen not laying

Just looked on their website- they say they dont sell pure buckfast, only buckfast x cecropia.
 
So how can you tell if a queen has nosema, presumably your suspicions are aroused when the attendants are long gone?

Grind her up and do a nosema test,or collect a bit of her poo and test that.
 
any tip for geting queen poo?
seriosly tho?

I have never tried it regards testing for nosema,(i have only tested dead one's) but have had queens poo just prior to inseminating them.

But this post from Ruary suggests this...............

No, never tested queens but apparently one method of so doing (without killing her) is to allow the queen to wander on a glass sheet and when she defecates (clear drop of liquid) to test that.
