When taking out the plastic inspection board:

A) where should I dispose of the waste collected on it? Didn't want to dump it near hive in case it attracted robbing or other such activity.

B) what is the best thing to clean it with?

It'll mostly be wax and maybe a bit of pollen.Put it in your wax bucket.

use a hive tool to scrape it.

that is exactly what i do, if anything wants to rob the grass they can get on with it.

Ask yourself what happens to the bits that fall through the hive without the inspection board fitted.

Not much wind up through an OMF
Look at the size of the mesh then look at the size of the holes in those plastic windbreak things folk put up. If in doubt leave a super underneath
