I'm back!

Afternoon all, after a forced medical lay-off of almost 4 years I am back to beekeeping. Like-new shoulder. Same supportive farmer, who has sorted me a new location with vehicle access and much less long distance carrying. 5 hives moved and ready for set up today (all empty at the moment). The bees clearly knew this was in the off'ing because a swarm arrived on Tuesday.

So ….. what have I missed?

Welcome back ... nothing much .. some of the people you would remember have left or no longer post, there's a few idiots and trolls posting but there's still some really good beekeepers on here that you will recognise.

Some threads are repeating what has gone before but there's a fair few new beekeepers who are asking the same questions we all asked when we started out.

You've got about half a million posts to catch up on so plenty to do next winter !!

It's still the best beekeeping forum .. perhaps in the world considering the number of contributors from outside the UK.

Mmmmmm, trolls you say? I'll look out for them. I hope they are up on their knowledge and factually correct, would be a great shame to make them look complete pillocks in public wouldn't it!
