Finally got round to editing together a short video of the two swarms that arrived at my homemade swarm traps over the last couple of weeks. I lost the first one due to inexperience, not realising I had to be quick and collect it asap when it clustered underneath the swarm trap. The second one arrived a week later to a different trap and went straight inside. The traps are about 20-30 metres away from each other and were both receiving heavy scouting before the swarms arrived. Interestingly the other traps in the garden only had a handful of scouts between them.

Many thanks to everyone who has offered me advice over the last few weeks. I'm absolutely thrilled to catch a swarm and start beekeeping!
