Icing sugar

Hi,

Does any recommend using icing sugar for mid year treatment for varroa?

Can it do any harm?

It doesn't work unless you do it weekly
It can harm open brood
The only place for icing sugar in my apiary is for a sugar roll or in the kitchen on a cake

I had a case of crabs PL one day and it never worked on them either the shampoo gear from the chemist did..the best thing i can say is do not start a problem that cannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn be avoided..
