How's your summer flow doing?

Got huge amounts of Himalayan balsam and the bees are doing they punk era, however the ivy is about to come in to flower and i saw one hive starting to kick out drones

Can you just put a hive anywhere that isn't privately owned??
I read that people were moving some into the new forest or onto the heather moors and am intrigued if you need permission.

Himalayan Balsam strong flow on here, and probably continuing for the next 3 weeks fingers crossed. Usually extract end of September. Looking like my best year so far

Same here, all supers on hives were full today so added another 2 on some hives and one on others. Need to get some enthusiasm up for extracting so that Ive fit more empty supers ready.
Ivy looks like its still a couple of weeks off flowering so let see how much that Balsam flow yields.

Yes you need permission, sometimes a license, and usually insurance as well.
