how to shake in a swarm

This video is worth looking at shows the right way to hive a 3.1/2 pound swarm package. Note the drawn out wax comb and the new queen taken out the lid.
Within an hour the bees were hard at work in there new home.

Just a normal frame feeder.

Would have been a good idea to put a lid on the syrup bucket before shaking so many bees into the air.

Why are you such a fan of frame feeders Poly Hive? Very interested to know.

I always thought that they were a bit painful in that they need topping up so often?
