not worthy Now that's just crazy enough to work!! Say goodbye to the extractor!

I think I'm going to have to try it... perhaps with hex or square jars?

I bet it wouldn't work as well as it looks in their pictures though;
and how readily would the bees leave their cosy little jars of comb?

Great for heat insulation though... and really eye-catching!

PS - congrats on the 2000th post Dr S!

oh - i hadn't noticed (despite having paid attention at 1991 earlier in the day!!!!). must get a life.

perhaps this idea could be integrated with the rotating hive idea to give an automatic cut comb bottling plant - groups of 3 or 4 bottles arranged radially on a rotating platform over the QE - once bottles filled (sensed by weight), platform rotates bringing new bottles over QE and filled ones over clearer board and so on.

A great find and saved for another day when I might give it a try. Results will be published. Pictures dependant on results.
Thank you for sharing with us.
