Hiya, orchard apiary in Buckinghamshire

Hi all,

A friend and I keep our bees, 4-5 hives, in a cider apple orchard in the Aylesbury Vale. Surrounded by lovely hedgerows, some arable crops - rape and field beans, allotments and gardens.

Really enjoyed reading all your posts and the topics covered. Particularly interested in Asian Hornet impact on fruit production/harvesting (1500 trees at the moment) as well as on honeybees.

Yes lots of cider produced and sold locally - Summer in a glass!
