Hi all
Hopefully someone can clear a question up, last Monday I noticed 6 hives with the smaller round feeders on. They were national broods with crown board then feeder however instead of surrounding it with a super the roof was balanced on top.
So firstly I'd have thought wrong time of year had they been abandoned but not all of the hives were like this there is 30+ dotted all around the area.
So had they died out or were they being topped up that day? Still a bit cold I felt to see the hives like that.
There's me with mine wrapped in insulation to stop the cold
