Could it be a honey bee? Doubtless some would not know the difference! Might be close enough to be a bumblebee to some.

Checking facts before going to print costs time and requires effort. Why lose even a carp story for a bit of research. No hype in that.

The excuse from the dim journalist will doubtless be along the lines of 'I only reported what I had been told'
