Damn Dogs break your heart with their little mannerisms and ways especially my 2 labs, I have 3 at the bottom of the garden now all sadly missed and were unique in their own way.
Looking at Mabel she looks like the type of dog you could have a conversation with and she would understand you perfectly.

It is always sad when you lose one of the family.
When I walk into a room at home I still expect to see our own Springer Spaniel and indeed I do sometimes see her out of the corner of my eye.
