Getting stings out?

I later found out that the Zoo does not keep poisonous snakes and so the snake was destroyed: pity as they are not all that common.

Even less common now !!

Sorry to thread hijack, but was wondering with regards to stings hoe long it takes for your body to start desensitising to stings? Got three this evening on my wrist and it's swollen a fair bit, the getting stung bit I don't mind, it's the swelling and itching that frustrates me! When can I see an end to it?
