"Midas

Change can be a painful process and not all can move with the times which is such a shame....."

......that could be an extract from the diaries of Herr Goebbels!

I've just started a course and its definitely the way to go. I kept bees many years ago but nothing like a few hundred bees landing on you to help decide if it is for you or not. I can put you in touch with bbka people near lincoln who will help you. Just pm me for details.

As a newbe myself, I love to read all the questions and answers and also ask questions myself. I have also looked at the 'sticky's'
Only thing I dislike are miserable coments from just a few... but then they can always be read and disregarded :hairpull:
Isn't learning new things a wonderful experience :hurray:

one bit of advice you won't see on a sticky, once you have start your hooked like a drug and there is no cure, your bank balance will shrink dramatically, get your partner to take an interest otherwise she/he will feel left out and finally keep an eye on hive numbers because as if by magic you have more hives than you can cope with

Good luck and welcome to the forum
