I am running a number of one-day General Husbandry preparation days, at my honey farm here in Devon. The dates are:

29th April
6th May
21st May

The intention is to cover the pre-requisites, theory, and practical elements. Discussions will be driven by your own questions, and the apiary session includes a mock assessment of one candidate so that you can see what is involved and what detail/skill is required. Two experienced tutors will be on hand, one of them a General Husbandry assessor, and group sizes are kept small.

We cannot teach you to pass the General Husbandry, rather we work to improve your confidence and point out any further areas of study/practice prior to the assessment.

Suitable both for those who have booked the General Husbandry this summer, or for those who are considering it soon but want to know what's involved.

For more details please send me a private message.
