Once has roast swan in Sweden.... a bit like duck, but bigger!

We used to say there should be two at the table when eating duck - you and the duck. Because there's lots of carcass but not much meat!

Used to be served annually at my Cambridge college May Ball. I've since forgotten the taste - early 1960s. I wonder if our Queen knew about this?

They are ringed though.
Swan upping was a jolly good Piss-Up in years gone by. How we all survived on the water I have no idea.
