Free bees, NR31

collected a large prime swarm this afternoon, they are presently in my skep, in the back garden.

if anyone wants them, let me know asap, and come and get them, bring a brood box with frames and wax, omf and crownboard. and a hive strap of course!

Hi Tony, typical that I have been out all evening and its well late now. Another night and I would of been over (fair trek mind) but a lady near me is very keen to fill her hive and after loads of activity yesterday on the swarm front today has seen just the one that had moved on before we arrived.
Will see what tomorrow brings

That was a nice thing to do. Must be quite heart breaking when that happens but I expect if you keep bees it’s going to happen.

I know of a feral colony in a chimney, now is there a way to lure them into a hive.
