flower id please.

seems to be fields of it around me at the minute, any idea what it is and if the weather suited would it be any use to bees?

It's a red dead nettle, Lamium purpureum.
Supposed to be good for bees

One pic of bee and dead nettle, here I take the nettle as indicator. If bees are lot on a nettle that means for me there is less available better source of nectar ( and pollen). I noticed that in spring last years when wild fruits are failing in nectar sourcing the bees then turn all to nettle. Then watch more carefully situation to react properly.
