Greetings from a very cloudy spain,
Inspected both hives this morning, the small hive now has a little amount of capped brood and plenty of bees, all looking good,
the bigger hive also has capped brood and larvae, I even managed to rob a frame of honey which as I write is dripping through the filter, we will use the wax for candle making,
Just after my last post I made a couple of timber covers to cover the metal hive roofs and painted them white,
Normally when I have finished an inspection there are a couple of bees which follow me for about five minutes! this time I took a small hand held sprayer and a couple of squirts put paid to the followers, Wow! every day is a skule day, adios.
