Feeding Brace comb back to the bees

I have a quantity of brace comb with unsealed honey. I propose to feed it back to the bees in English feeders, with the central cover removed, over a crown board.
Would this method be considered appropriate or are there any more suitable methods??
There is still a Borage flow on, but now reducing.

No problem if it's from disease free sources but you sometimes find they reconstruct the material back into comb within the feeder

Better to wait until the flow is over. While nectar is coming in, bees are just as likely to add it to the scraps.
