To summarise :
* July 1st: Nuc created using open queen cell.
* Queen should have emerged say 10 days later (guessing, but as the cell wasn't capped, then >8 days). So c. July 11th.
* today is the 29th, 18 days after possible emergence.
Like Drex, I've had it take 3 weeks (& more) sometimes, so it's still entirely possible that things will work out.
Adding a frame of very young larvae as others have suggested would really help. Why not swap one of your drawn frames from the nuc with one from the queen right hive?
