I have already extracted honey from my middle supers (rape) and don’t plan to continue the demarees dut to lack of time & holidays. I have put the wet supers back above the BB. The top BB’s are heavy now with stores.
I plan to remove the demaree boards and remove some of the honey filled frames from the top BB’s (unless brood present if the demaree has resulted in a new Q in the top box).
My concern is leaving sufficient stores, particularly if a June gap. It’s not really a question just asking if this is the process others are following.
Also I’ve not been inspecting the bottom BB box with the Q, too much effort & time removing the tower!
I will then commence 7 day inspections of the bottom BB.
