EFB or pollen?

Relatively new to bee keeping, picked up a swarm a few weeks ago. I starved them for 48 hours because the area is know for EFB, I’m feeding at the moment and they are drawing out comb on three frames.

Looks like syrup placed on top of pollen to me but if in doubt give the local inspector a ring. They will come and check at no cost to you other than peace of mind.

:iagree: Bottom picture with the cell between the 2 antenna, looks like 2 pollen sacs just gone into the cell.

I had EFB last year the photos don't look like our cells did. However if you have any concern send the photos to your local bee inspector. I found them a great help although I had to destroy a colony.
