They couldn't understand why some of the audience just looked on astounded whilst the rest were rolling in the aisles.
apparently Coo Coo in Sesotho is the common term especially used by children to describe their foofoo (or front bottom if you prefer )

Sat there this morning, white theatre socks on (steady JBM) gown on all ready for the big moment.......Cancelled! Some agency theatre staff member (and I use the word advisedly) hadn't turned up!!!! So there trying to get me a slot ASAP! Sorry boys your going to have to wait.

Probably realised it was Saturday so only time and a half - should have scheduled it for Bank Holiday Monday - not even double bubble - it's triple I believe!

Yep, double time and a day in lieu plus mileage and meal allowance when I was shop steward. Happy days.
When the surgeon apologised and told me (after I took a deep breath or two) I said "well it's not your fault, lets see if we can get an other day scheduled ASAP".
I've really mellowed since joining this forum, you know. LOL

To be honest, if the missing staff member had been out on the 'lash' the night before then I'm glad it was cancelled! LOL
