Chris B uses loads of plastic frames/foundation - swears by them, uses a little paint roller to give them a thin coat of molten wax to start them off and they go like a dream on them

Yeah I used the paint roller as well. Quick and easy, and smells lovely.

I was talking to the head beekeeper at LASI, university of Sussex at last months workshop about i raised their use of the american plastic foundation and he pull out a box of plastic foundation brood frames that had been just taken off a hive

You must have been in the same group as me!

What he didn't have experience of was plastic comb, which I've read lots of American beeks swearing by.
