Do I just let them get on with it?

I am new to beekeeping this year. I have a hive (national) of bees in my garden from a swarm taken on May 6th.
They quickly pulled out 4 frames of comb and the queen started laying straight away.
However they are now still only on 8 frames. 4 of these are all brood, two are brood, pollen, nectar, capped honey, and 2 are just comb and nectar. (There are very few drones/drone cells.)
Is this a bit slow or typical colony growth?
Do I let them just carry on as they are or is there a way to encourage them to increase and perhaps give me just one frame of honey?
They are lovely, quiet tempered bees with minimal varroa drop.
I don’t mind being told to just be patient!

I recon they're doing ok. I wouldn't try spreading the brood but just keep an eye on how they expand. I'm a newbee too though so you may get more info from someone else

Sounds like they are coming along very nicely and seem to have a good stores/brood ratio. It's been a strange year and reports are very mixed from area to area. If it were me, I'd continue to inspect, gaining experience and enjoying your new hobby. There's still quite a few weeks ahead.

Keep an eye on them. I hived a swarm from one of my own colonies on 22nd April. I put them in a 14 x 12 and they drew all the frames in six weeks. The weather here has been pants...not much time for foraging so they made more and more bees. They buzzed off again beginning of June on the first warm day. I caught that lot too and for want of kit I put them in a 14 x 12 six frame nuc.
ALL frames were drawn and three laid up in one week.

You say you are happy to be told to be patient so 'be patient'. How long do you think it takes bees to make a frame of honey? You've only had them a month and you're already impatient to get at their hard won gains!
Give them a chance.
