Did this boy get lucky or was it a wet dream?

Had a couple of these drones recently outside a virgin queen hive. I was wondering if this is what a mated drone ie he has fulfilled his duty looks like or maybe the excitement of the scent of a virgin queen might make a drone loose control? Or of course it maybe something completely different?
