Not a post about 20 second lawn mowing...

Lost a queen in a single brood with 8-frames-bee-covered with no super (from a recent split) so want to put it with a another which is at about 6-frames-covered. Happy to air freshen (note: newspaper v AF opinions is not the topic) and wondered if AF users feel you should combine one box on other let them mix for a day before going in to arrange frames out in a sensible order? Or can you squirt, combine and then sort in one go.

Didn't want to disrupt too much...Goal is to make the integration as "elegant" as possible.
 
I'd rearrange and in addition mist all frames with a mint/sugar water spray which encourages them to groom each other.
 
Funnily enough I am going to do the same thing. I am going to squirt and put one box on the other and rearrange the following day.
