Dead bees

Hi,

There are 20 ish dead bees in the snow outside the front of one of my hives. There was a pile of snow on the landing board, but with a small gap in front of the entrance. It looks like the bees could get out but werent able to get back in. I cleared the snow away from the entrance.

There are 20 ish dead bees in the snow outside the front of one of my hives. There was a pile of snow on the landing board, but with a small gap in front of the entrance. It looks like the bees could get out but werent able to get back in. I cleared the snow away from the entrance.

Very often seen, snow seems to disorientate honey bees ,usually a few tens or dozens are to be found dead in the snow .
