Don't know much about other areas, Steve... but it has been an excellent season for honey here, and on top of that one of the best heather seasons I can remember.

That was the reason I asked in 1st place. We had our best year ever and I honestly thought if others had had as good a year, they may have some to sell. From the response, it seems few have taken off honey and those that did in the main, had very little.
If this is the case, I wish I knew why we did so well so I can repeat next year!
Our heather crop was poor but I bxxxed up the bees I had in mind for it.

Still extracting that stuff, will be pleased when the job is finished, most ordinary floral honey now gone, just keeping a couple of tons.

I got my bees strong too early for heather and had to split too many to get them out strong enough, i.e. Ballsxx it up. It did leave me with a lot of nucs, many of which I am overwintering and plan to sell in spring
Will get it right next year, bet the heather fails!
