Combining hives

I've recently spent time reducing colonies down to a manageable number.

I DID remember to use drawing pins to secure the newspaper rather than the usual chasing it down the garden at the worst possible moment scenario.

However I DID forget to remove the comb hanging down from the bottom of the bb frames and wondered why it didn't fit. Not a brilliant idea when you then have to try to balance the bb and remove the comb from the bottom.
Mrs Incompetent triumphs again. Must try harder.
