Please bear with me as I am a beekeeping novice, I only started learning about beekeeping last summer.

Whilst looking for another National Hive (I have one hive at the moment and my mentor says I need another hive) on the 'net I kept coming across Candipolline. Has anyone used this and is it any good? I realise that it's more of a late winter / spring feed.does it have any advantages over the standard fondant feed?

I used it in early spring. Quite expensive but bees soon ate it and have done very well since. Don't know if the protein helped but it doesn't seem to have harmed them
