a mate with a brewery wants to use some of my honey for a brew....again

am i better giving him summer stuff that takes longer to set than spring which may set sooner as may have some OSR?

i think the answer is yes but wondered....

I guess it depends how soon he'll use it or whether he can melt it easily. May be easier for you to keep the slower setting stuff for later sales.

as he'll be chucking it into the mash, surely it doesn't matter?

its a commercial brewing company who want a honey beer....so yes, i guess the mash temp will blitz it regardless

Give him any old crystalised honey you have laying around, it will be fine for the mash. Make life easier for yourself
