Bit puzzelled by this. Unless they don't like their new home

Swarm may escape from the hive quite quickly or next day. I have lost couple of swarm when the hive was in hot place and started to feed at once.

One swarm even layed one frame and then left again.

I think abscond would have been a better term than swarm - it does happen - catch a swarm, hive them, then next day they're off again!

Yes the first lot absconded 2 times from the hive thats why this time i put queen excluder under brood box.

I don't know your particulars, so I am not criticizing, but it might be good to ask "why?" There may be an environmental problem you can fix which makes them dissatisfied. They'll settle down when they have brood (assuming tgere is not something completely intolerable).

As one great philosopher said 'you never can tell with bees'. A lot of the time there is nothing wrong with the hive - I had one leave this year - put them back in and their fine now (super went on last weekend)

It may be a silly question but have you got frames and foundation in the hive?

Out of interest what hive type are you using?

I have a brood box with foundation in a national hive I beleive. They are settled now. The swarming (absconding) from the hive may have been for the quenn to mate ? as they formed a swarm in a tree then after a while went all over the garden sky and formed in a neighbours tree. After about 15 mins they swarmed back to original tree but about 3 foot higher. I caught them and put back in hive. They did abscond again but that I think was down to me disturbing the comb they made. They seem settled now.
