Hi,
thats interesting- I was always shown to put fondant face down over the hole in the crownboard (as you would have a bucket feeder for syrup). I would be concerned about heat loss?

I suppose if the fondant covered the hole QX the heat loss might not be too bad- at the least I would cover the fondant with a quilt?
