Hey everyone

Yesterday i seen larvae being carried away from my nuc now im not sure if it the larvae was dead or alive but the bee flew away with it and there was some dead outside the hive.

Any ideas what could be up?

Thanks in advance to the non trolls

They do that when there is a shortage of stores and nothing coming in. Also could be part of hygienic behaviour getting rid of larvae died from sac brood. Perhaps have a look inside the nucleus and report what you find.

They had stores yesterday when i opened it but i will see if anything else stands out tomorrow if the weather is good
