Gutted that I can’t make the show. Murray’s just posted to say he’s showing there.
It looks like being a cracker!
What are they doing there……. Jolanta had said previously they are just visiting.

Thks…Funny enough I got a txt off her a few hours after your post saying the same.

We import and sell a range of commercially made and priced gear mostly to bee farmers. Frames, boxes, various boards and wire excluders, floors, roofs, foundation. All fully made up. Not coming to the show to do any on the day selling, it was a last minute thing, was not going to go. Will be leafletting, quoting prices to people, and distributing samples to relevant people. Mostly bee farmers and associations...retail orders below a certain level will be catered for in other ways. It is equipment *the way we use it ourselves*....gadget and gimmick free.

Alongside will be the Jolanta's side of the business, discussing her Scottish raised queens, nucleii (for 2024) and package bees (again for 2024). Jolanta herself will be in attendance.

There will be 6 or 7 of us there, both manning the small stand and mingling in the hall. Anyone welcome to say hello. Stand 9...roughly opposite the Swienty/Fritz block. Happy with that, they are good friends of ours.

Main reason for the change of mind? Its a new show and seeing the exhibitor list decided a presence from the start, even if only a token at this stage, before we launch our website, seems fairly sensible. We are not JUST a large bee farm. This is nothing whatsoever to do with our main bee. If you value your hours spent assembling stuff it might be interesting to do your sums.....

If things go nicely we might have a much larger presence next year.

Look forward to the website launch. Those prewired frames someone posted look excellent.

Post a price list up you may get some orders to bring down😂
Not on forum. I am not a sponsor here, and also I don't use the forum for marketing...at least not directly but some threads cross over a bit.
People who DO sponsor it, like Patrick for example, have the right..I dont feel I do. I did not bring this matter to the forum but needed to respond when I started getting PM's. I actually announced it on my Twitter feed.

I will not be posting prices as a matter of course on here....anyone who wants to ask please PM.

Also Ian.....the event is., for us, mostly just putting a presence in more public places than at present at a new show. We DO shift a fair volume of stuff...I think it was 8 artic loads in 2022 plus c 20t of foundation into the market, but fly very much under the radar as it is mostly to bee farmers and also some re-exported.

We will not be doing on the day sales at the show, we are not prepared for it and the team will only be coming down in a couple of hiluxes. Only display material and samples will be available.

Being practical rather than rude...with a 5000 hive bee farm to run, handling stuff about the Jolanta project, and working high volumes of commercial kit means we are just not in the correct place time wise for delivering 20 frames to the other end of the country at a trade price and 20 mins of chat on phone.
Local stockists around the country better placed for that.

he doesn't any more, not heard a peep from him in ages
I offered to support a long time back...nothing came of it. Did not know Patrick had stopped.
Not been on here much this winter. Combination of work load, trying to negotiate the convoluted alleyways and money traps of the 'points based system' for visas, and being rather put off by a few.... IMO...deluded self appointed messiahs. No time for 'getting into it' so just kept away. Did not stop me reading some of the output and sitting shaking my head however.

We are making a weekend of it and staying in a pub in Much Wenlock. I have a very long list of things to buy both for myself and the Association apairy….
