Hi All. can you spray anything on to your bee suit to keep angry bees away while working in the hive?

Billy Goat urine

It works! I tried it this morning - I tipped a bucketful over myself, held my breath and lifted the hive roof - excellent results - all bees immediately flew to hive corners, or away. No smoker needed. I reckon one bucket full will last two weeks. Try it!

yeah, just puff your smoker over yourself

+1
And work out what's making them grumpy.

Clean gloves, clean tools, clean suit, nice smoke, gentle at can be, can all help.
And sometimes doing them in the right order can help too.

as said smoking but also make sure to wash your suit regularly as the pheromones linger in the fabric

Just don't wash and one dose will last the summer

And avoiding scented "personal care" products, while maintaining personal hygiene (goat pee users notwithstanding).
