I got my bees 3 years ago from a old guy who had abandoned his hives a few years before.
They have always been a bit aggressive compared to other hives in the division and they seam darker in colour, So i have been thinking they are native blacks of some description.

Is there somewhere i can send a few and get id

they are probably a black mongrel, not native

Nice looking bees what ever the genetic mix.

They look a bit to err rounded, the black bees I have are more elongated shaped and are much darker body, fur, and segments. good looking bees though.
