Bee breeds

HI!

is there any visual difference between different bee breeds? specially workers. Italians are a bit more yellower than ...

I was just watching my bees today and thought what can they be. They do look just like my bees back in Estonia - dark ones. Or is it all about the queen. I haven't changed my queens yet, they came with the swarm and so far laying ok. Will change them eventually.

May be we should put some pics of different bee breeds up here?

That's a brilliant idea... I spent quite a while online last night trying to find photos of different breeds of honeybees.... so I could learn to tell where they originate from and what their traits are. I went onto Wiki, and although they had a list of different strains and their good and bad points, there were no pictures. It would be great to have a quick visual reference on here.
