Bee And Butterfly Heaven..

[Millet]

There's a 15acre field right near the hive and they must be around 3/4 acres of thistle in there.. every type of bumble be i have seen is in there as well as my bee's which seem to be turning white.. lol there's also an abundance of butterflies one of which i got a picture of..

With my little bee's only having a short distance to fly and with this thistle being long flowering and bramble also near by let's hope they fill there first super pretty quick..

Thank you Beeno.. i don't have a clue if they collect pollen from thistles but what i do know is half of the bee's on the thistle flower's are dusted in white pollen..
