Hi all, please can I have you advice, last week I checked one of my colonies double brood, three supers all good no QC, plenty of space, that evening I collect some mated queens and had to bank one until today as i ovetlooked a colony which was queen right ,I put the queen cage on top if the top super as I heard you can bank queens like that , as I was approaching the hive this morning the little blighters swarmed right in front of me to a very tall tree about 12m high , after I returned after half hour hoping they might be lower they were gone, quick question would of banking a queen caused the swarming, as there were 2 seatled qc today or might of been chance and I missed them on last inspection, many thanks
