google proplis grid...think queen excluder with smaller holes...particularly late in season and bees are sealing up for the winter they can cover them quickly....some bees will use more than others and sites with a good number of resinous trees often produce more
 
Am sure you could even sell the stuff as is on fleabay 1 popular and easy product is a tincture

I was beginning to suspect that. My bees are 50 yards from a pine spinney and practically underneath a horse chestnut in the hedgerow and they pile propolis onto everything.
 
Our local group had someone contact them to buy it. They were offering £65 per kg.
