Differencies between years in the same place

When you push a button, you get the indivudual hive.

Then you can change the year and you see how different are years.

If the curve starts to go horizontaly suddenly, it means often that swarm has leaved and honey flow into the hive has stopped

This is my measuring hive in 2013 when I last time installed the balance.

Brown short curve is the time when colony is in artificial swarm period. Then I United hive parts again.

You see that AS continued foraging with same speed as the whole colony.

The colony brought 50 kg honey from raspberry and from autumn rape before I installed the balance.

It looks like most beekeepers in Finland are not transporting their bees to new areas. The average crop this year will be under 40 kilograms. There was a lot of swarming, I only saw a few that did not swarm. Some beekeepers are already feeding for winter as shown by sudden increases in weight over the last 2 weeks.

You cannot see it from figures. But figures show, that crop was poor in whole country. Plenty of rains. Temps have been good. On my are July has been the most rainy during last 20 years.

It is not cleaver to migrate balance hive. That is why I am not eager to install the balance. My all hives are now on outer pastures.

Quite expencive to drive car every evening after sunset to read kilos.

Finman, I'm asking what your production looks like for this year. Not how much your best hive made or how much your worst made, but what the average for all colonies will be. I think you are going to average about 60 k's per hive but I might be wrong.
