I'm shocked and deeply saddened to find out that from the 1st of July planes or helicopters will be dropping/spraying a poisonous and toxic chemical called Asulam onto Dartmoor which will poison all berries, water supply, plants etc they will be spraying for a year, drenching the moors.

It is moderately toxic to birds, most aquatic organisms, honeybees and earthworms.

That's actually a very good thing, big swathes of bracken does nothing any good. Would assume they'll only be targeting patches and staying away from watercourses.

Bracken spores cause cancer of the digestive system and lungs in people and livestock.

Guess its all fine to use now we are leaving Europe, where Asulam is banned.
If you care to dig a little deeper I expect you will find who has been lobbying for its use!!
