while out shooting duck this morning at around 7 o'clock i witnessed what must have been one of these, http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2011/12/geminid-meteor-shower/ ,it was about 3inches long and travelled for a few feet across the sky and was that bright before it disappeared that i had to look away.
