Are these Queen Cells?

Morning all.
Are these queen cell cups?
About 5 were found on one frame of stores this morning. They are still empty.

Yes bees make them all the time. Nothing to worry about if not charged. Sometimes you get the odd egg which may or may not stay in it. As soon as you see queen jelly then you know they are thinking about swarming. I usually open the edge of queen cups just to check for eggs. It gives me some idea if they are considering swarming!

queen cell cups?

Queen cups have three stages:
1 Matt interior
2 Polished interior
3 Polished interior + egg or + larva + royal jelly

Stage 2 is the one to identify: the following week they may have moved to stage 3.

Enough laying space? If not, stage 3 is not far off.
